Debbie,you asked me to visit Rachel here about three months ago.And to be
honest,I never could get myself to do it.Now that I have,Im glad I

Thank you for sharing your wonderful, lovely daughter and for visiting my
Kimberly's page. Our girls were very much alike. My Kimby was only a freshman
in college, but intended to be a social worker. Her sister is a teacher. Our
girls wanted to help other ...to guide others....Kimby was helping others when
she was killed. She was standing by the side of the highway dialing 911 to get
help for others in a car wreck when a car hit her. I will hold a special place
in my prayers for you.

i found your site by accident, i am a cousin to dustin and chelsea daniel whose
mother has a site on the harlancounty page also. please accept my deepest
sympaty for you and your family on this great loss. i lost a son over 20 years
ago to stillbirth and ven though our losses were different they are still the
same. the pain never quite goes away, it is always there. it does lessen with
time, to a dull ache, but the memory will always be with me. your daughter
sounded like she was a beautiful person and yo should be proud of her life and

I’ve wanted to write something in this guest book for a long time and I
couldn’t. Every time I go to this site I try not to cry but I always fail to do
so. Rachel was one of the closest friends I ever had. I'm originally from Saudi
and I went to Easter with Rachel. Every time I felt homesick or depressed for
missing my family she always stood by me and made me feel better. We went
through every thing good friends would go through. We were close friends in
good times and in bad times. She was the on friend that every one would like to
have in their life. I loved her and still love her...I missed her and still

through. Every day that they head out to start their days I repeatedly tell

I knew Rachel when we were in elementary school. She truly was laughing all the
time. Needless to say, it was a contagious laugh. Although Rachel moved back to
Ohio and I moved away, I still believe her to be my friend. Friends aren't

Hi everyone, I am Rachel's Aunt Priscilla. I haven't been able to sign the
guestbook for awhile because everytime I get on Rachel's website I start to
cry. Her mother, Debbie has made a wonderful tribute to Rachel on this website.
Rachel is my only neice and h s always had a special place in my heart. When
she was a little baby I always knew she was someone special. She had that
radiant smile as a child and kept it as she grew to an adult. The love and
response that people have expressed far and wide is an a firmation of what a
unique and special person she is. She touched so many people's lives. Words
can't express the sense of loss that our family feels; especially her Mother.
My sister was a good mother to Rachel and still is. Everything she did in lif ,
she put Rachel first. The best gift she gave to her was to take her to church
all her life and give her a good foundation in Jesus Christ; because in the end
whether we die of old age or tragically in youth we all face the same God. I
think she gave h r something that money can't buy, something more precious than
gold. She introduced her to the Saviour while she was here on Earth and now

I am so very sorry for your loss. The web page is a beautiful tribute to your
much beloved daughter. I recently suffered the loss of my soulmate and husband
of 30 years and know the agony you are enduring. Thankfully we are all
believers and know that e will be reunited in heaven with our loved ones and
that we will never again be separated again! I found these words by Dietrich
Bonhoeffer to be of some comfort: "Nothing can make up for the absence of
someone we love...we must simply hold out and see it through. That sounds very
hard at first, but at the same time it is a great consolation, for the gap, as

I met Rachel my sophomore year at Clermont Northeastern High School. We had
Geometry class together. She was such a sweet and positive person. It was so
easy to relax and be yourself around her. She always had comforting words for
me and was there for e through that year when I had some really bad times. She
is a wonderful friend. I moved away my junior year and we unfortunately lost
touch. I hated to hear that she had been killed in the accident. My heart goes

Ms. McCalla, Though I never had the priviledge to meet Rachel, I taught in the
same school system. I am a teacher at the lower elementary school and Rachel's
death made an impact on my life and my teaching. I am reminded everyday, as I
too drive quite a ways to ork, how precious life is. As a Christian, I believe
that Rachel was doing a work of God. God could have placed her anywhere but he
felt that she was needed at Gallatin County. We may not ever see the reasons
God chose Gallatin County for Rachel or mys lf, but there is a reason. We, as

In knowing Rachel in high school and in being on the dance team with her, I can
truly say that Rachel was probably one of the most real people that I knew in
high school. She never tried to be fake or be someone she wasn't. I think that

Rachel was such a special friend to me. We first beacame friends in an allgebra
class in our sophmore year in high school, and remained friends until her
heartbreaking accident. After she graduated from college she moved next door to
me. In that time Rac el and I became so much more closer than we ever were
before. Shortly after she accepted the job at Gallitan County she moved to
Erlanger, but we still continued to stay in touch. I have had some of the best

her. I lost my son Josh to murder 7/1/98. Please know that you will be able to go
on. Your life will be changed forever, But good things can come out of tradegy.
It is unfortunate th t some of us must carry this burden, but each holiday will

I too, will miss the very special person in Rachel. I was her drill team
instructor in high school and I saw, even during that time, that she had the
dedication and drive to be a teacher. She told me it was all she ever wanted to
do and I am so glad that he got the opportunity to work with the children at
Gallatin. She was a dear friend of both my sons and they have had a hard time
